Transportation
The best way to reach Topsail Island is by car. From Wilmington, take US-17 North to NC-210 East. Follow NC-210 East to the island. Parking is available at various public beach access points. The Onslow County Area Transit System (OCATS) provides limited bus service to the mainland near Topsail Island, but it does not directly serve the island itself.
